Tom Hall

Founder & President of Nth Degree Entertainment Group & Co-Partner
of the Retro Road Show

Tom HallPerforming as a DJ since the early 90's, Tom Hall started his first
DJ job at Bazooka Jacks in Thornhill, Ontario as the Friday Night Resident DJ. After a successful run, he began to look for a new opportunity to DJ somewhere in Toronto. In 1996 he found that opportunity with Liberty Entertainment Group's venue The Phoenix Concert Theatre as the Friday Night DJ & as a co-host of Phoenix Fridays on Q107 FM and later, Toronto's Radio Station MIX 99.9 FM(now Virgin Radio). In early 1997 Thomas took to the airwaves as the DJ on Mix 99.9 FM's Saturday Night Live to Air "Retro Party Mix" from The Joker Nightclub, which lasted 7 years. He has been a primary DJ for many years for several other venues of Liberty Entertainment Group's including The C-Lounge, Courthouse Chamber Lounge and Left Bank (now known as Tattoo Parlour), and The Velvet Underground. In 2006 Tom became the Friday Night resident DJ at The Fifth (formerly Easy & the Fifth) playing mostly Top 40 until he left in late 2008.

While interning as a Live-To-Air DJ at Mix 99.9 FM radio station (currently know as Virgin Radio) in Toronto, Tom realized he had a profound effect on the listeners and patrons with his unique music selection mixing style. With this thought in mind, he decided to take his talents from the clubs to entertain clients by enhancing corporate and private events with these skills. He is also the preferred DJ Service for Eclectic Events International, which specializes in corporate event planning. In addition he is also one of the main suppliers of DJ/AV services for Bliss Events, Rosehill Venue Lounge and Melissa Baxter Events .

Tom also found the time to perform for the "Saturday Night Dance Party" Live to Air on 104.5 CHUM FM from Courthouse Chamber Lounge from 2004 - 2007. Initially playing the best of the 70's Disco & 80's with New Top 40 & House, the format slightly switched to all New Top 40, R&B, Hip Hop & House genres. Tom is currently involved with Boom 97.3 (Astral Radio). DJ'ing every Friday from 5pm to 7pm mixing up the 80's hits with KJ, with the Retro Super Mix Show. In addition to Boom 97.3, Tom is also
a partner with The Retro Road Show, playing and hosting an all 80's / 90's Music Video format hosted monthly (Every third Saturday) at the Dovercourt House (805 Dovercourt Road at Bloor Street).

Ron Grisbrook
Ron Grisbrrok

Keeping it fresh, fun and entertaining, is how Ron sums up a night of DJ'ing. After 20 years of DJ'ing in clubs, corporate events and weddings, Ron knows it is important to remember that the client always comes first. Whenever hosting/DJ'ing an event, Ron ensures that he speaks with the client to become aware of their needs for the night. In Ron's eyes, the Dj is simply an extension of the vision of the client, and it is his personal goal to ensure at the end of the night the client is smiling and satisfied. "A handshake at the end of the night with a smiling client always sends me home knowing that I accomplished what I was asked". Ron's musical taste is very ecliptic and he has you fully covered. In his time of DJ'ing (which is still on going under the name Dj Griz), Ron has hosted nights of Top 40, Alternative/New Rock, RB & Hip Hop, and Disco.
